Black Finish on Player Piano Action Parts

If you get an answer to your question, could you share it please?
I've just finished work on the Mandarin section of a bell box with
three figures, each holding two bell hammers.  The head on each figure
turns towards the bell as it strikes.  I need gloss black brushing
paint to finish the mounting board.  I've looked on the Internet but
not found anything suitable in the UK.
