Moving Aid for a Player Grand Piano
By John Powers

A piano dealer friend of mine moves grand pianos by himself using
a "piano horse". That's not my name and not my design but since I was
told they are no longer available I took the liberty to copy his and
build one for myself.

The drawer on an Ampico does have to come off but that's all. And
yes, one person can do it, both putting it on its side and vice versa.
The first time is a little 'hairy' but after that you realize it can't
get away from you. My friend does it almost daily and he's in his 80s.
