History of the DeBence Wurlitzer 153 Band Organ
By Dan Robinson

Scotty Greene of DeBence Antique Music World in Franklin, Pennsylvania,
wrote in the 200207 MMD:

"From a phone call I learned that the DeBence [Wurlitzer] 153 was
owned by the... [Gooding Amusement Co. of Columbus, Ohio] before it
went to Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio, in a trade for the German
organ they had been playing on their carousel."

This phone call was from an MMD subscriber, and Scotty has since lost
the gentleman's name. I am asking this person to email me to expand
on the basic information he shared with Scotty. (I'm a self-described
Wurlitzer band organ historian.)

Thanks.
