Seek Ampico B Rewind-Play Torsion Spring
By Allen Ford

Hi all, I hope this finds you all in good health. Recently the
small torsion spring which holds the transmission reroll-play
switch in each of the two required positions failed in my 1936
Ampico B. It is shown as spring "C" in Figure 25 in the Ampico
1929 "Model B" Owner's Mmanual.

A friend of some 40 or 50 years had a spare drawer and has sent a
spring to me. I hope to make an engineering sketch of it before
installing it.

I would like to hear from any one out there that can make or has
a friend who can make them new springs. I intend to make them
available at cost plus postage to anyone needing one in the future.

All the best to you and yours,
Allen E. Ford
