Attachment thumbnail How old was Pearl White when she made her piano rolls? I met her a few times at the Hinsdale Theater when I was helping Jim Glass get the organ ready for several of Pearl's concerts there. She was just the nicest and loveliest person you would ever want to meet. I was standing by the console talking with her when she started to practice and find her way around the stops. I said I should stop talking and let her practice. "No, No." she said. "It doesn't bother me. We can keep talking." What a wonderful lady and tremendous organist. It was a privilege meeting her. Dave Krall [ She was born Pearl Eleanor Weiss on October 26, 1910; ref.
