Seek Enrique Salva Miniature Barrel Piano Parts
By Paul Baker

Hello, I am currently restoring an Enrique Salva miniature barrel
piano of the common 32-note size. It is missing a few components which
I need to replicate.

1) When a tune is changed, the key-frame is moved out of the way of
the barrel pins whilst the barrel shifts sideways, as is normal with
all barrel pianos. This action is effected by, I presume, a small metal
link that at one end is connected to the tune-change-cam, and the other
end I am presuming is just "pushed" into the eye or loop on the bottom
of the key-frame (which is present).

I would be very grateful if anyone having one of these pianos could
email me a picture and dimensions of that link piece. A picture of the
cam is below.

2) The triangle is missing. Does anyone have a spare from a derelict
Enrique Salva or Faventia piano they would be willing to sell me?
I could possibly make one up, but naturally I would prefer to source
an original if possible.

3) As is sometimes the case, the winding crank is missing and again
I would be grateful to hear from anyone who can offer me a spare
original part.

Many thanks from the UK,
Paul Baker
