Ampico B Ball Bleed Check Valve Replica
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, In response to John Grant's question about the travel of the
ball in the Ampico B Ball Bleed Check Valve, I tested four original
bleeds and got a relatively wide amount of differences.

The minimum travel was 0.021" and the maximum was 0.035". Each bleed
was measured six times and the readings were averaged. Looking very
closely at each of the units, it became clear that the differences
were caused by the amount that the top lip was swaged over.

Musically,
John A Tuttle
