Wurlitzer "Autograph" Co-Op Reproducing Piano
By Rich Schommer

I'm working on the history of the ArtEcho reproducing system and need
more information on the coin-operated Wurlitzer Autograph Piano.

Wurlitzer produced thirteen Autograph pianos between 1915 and 1918
that played a music roll based on the Welte-Mignon system {ref. 1].
Between 1921 and 1926 they made another seventy-two pianos that
played a [12-inch-wide] roll derived from the ArtEcho system {ref. 2].

The Autograph used the same case as the Wurlitzer Solo Violin Piano
and had the Wurlitzer roll changer.

Are any of the pianos still around? Does anyone have rolls for it
in their collection?
