Wellsmore & Co. Player Piano
By Bob Ricco

Hello all, I have recently acquired two 88-note player pianos. The
first is a Wellsmore & Co. (New York) Serial # 20011. The case has
been stripped but not refinished. The player action is unknown but
is neither a Simplex nor a Standard. It has a dual vertical pneumatic
tracker and a five vertical pneumatic motor.

The second is a C. Kurtzmann & Co. (Buffalo, NY) Serial # 83199. The
case has been stripped and refinished with an oil finish. The player
action is a Standard.

I am planning to restore and sell one of these instruments and convert
the other one to play O-rolls and would like the opinion of the group
before deciding which way to go with this project. Thanks to all
in advance.
