Value of 1929 Knabe Ampico A Louis XV Case
By John A. Tuttle

HI All, One of my customers is leaving the area and wants to know
the fair market value of a 1929 Knabe 5'8" Ampico A Louis XV art case
style, graceful curved legs with decoration, mahogany.

The Ampico portion of the instrument was reconditioned about twenty
years ago, no other major work has ever been done. The unit is in
semi-working condition as a player. The finish is still quite clear
and there is no visible damage to the cabinet. Naturally, the tuning
pins are starting to get a bit loose and the action felts are getting
a little hard.

Any information will be greatly appreciated,

John A. Tuttle (john@player-care.com)
