FS: New Duo-Art Performances
By Tim Baxter

Dear MMDers: I am pleased to announce the release of three NEW Duo-Art
performances from our studios:

1. Pleasant Moments - Ragtime Waltz, by Scott Joplin (played
by John Roache)

2. Handel in the Strand, by Percy Grainger (played by Timothy Baxter)

3. Bagatelles, Op. 5, Nos. 3, 7 & 10, by Alexander Tcherepnin (played
by Timothy Baxter)

Each roll is US $12.00.

A bit of pathos about the John Roache performance of Pleasant Moments:
it was the last MIDI file created on his computer before his death.
The performance sounds like John just sat down and played it, with a
minimum (or perhaps no) editing of the MIDI file. Regardless, it is
a beautiful and sensitive performance.

It would be vainglorious for me speak about the quality of my own
performances, except to note they've been very well-received by the
folks who have purchased them so far.

I enjoy alerting the MMD of our doings because we would not be making
rolls (Duo-Art or otherwise) but for the MMD, and the info which has
been provided here. Thanks to everyone!

Sincerely,

Tim Baxter
