New CDROM of Duo-Art Music Transcriptions
By Spencer Chase

I will be releasing some new CDs of MIDI and BAR/ANN files made from
Original Duo-Art Piano Rolls. 504 new titles will be available soon.

I am just making the final files conversions into the many different
formats that will provided. I will then be the world leader in Duo-Art
E-Rolls with nearly 900 titles. Popular rolls will be offered in two
forms: with and without the original acceleration that interferes with
the tempo. I have decided that historical accuracy and musical
accuracy are both important and am hoping that the new files are not
abused by being used as a source for archival reference.

It has been pointed out that the cost of buying my E-Rolls is less than
5% of the cost of buying new recut rolls or original rolls in good
condition. This makes it pretty easy to justify the cost of a
Broadmoore PowerRoll.

The new listings are available on my web site. Almost every page has
changed (hopefully for the better), so make sure to refresh often if
your browser saves old page images. Please check out the new site
thoroughly as much has changed. If you are interested in receiving a
notice when the new CDs are available please send me a note. And thank
you to all who offered opinions on the tempo acceleration issue.
