Source of Reproducers for Edison Phonographs
By Marvin Polan

There are original Edison Disk Reproducers available for purchase,
and there were Lateral Reproducers made to allow one to play Victor
type records on Edison machines. I know because I have purchased them,
but mine are not for sale.

Just this past weekend there was the Lynn Bilton Phonograph and Music
Collectors show in Delaware. There will be another show in the fall
and also in Ohio somewhere.

If you cannot get to any of these shows I would recommend you to
Charlie Hummel. He is an expert on Edison Phonographs and buys and
sells Edison parts and machines. I am sure he would have these items
for sale. I cannot find his address or telephone number but I believe
he is on the "Board" of the Edison National Historic Site (Museum) in
West Orange, New Jersey telephone # 201-736-0550. There may have been
an area code change there. They can help find Charlie.
