Hi All, My father once said, "If you want to know what something
is worth, just try to sale it".
I saw the advert for the Chickering baby grand piano in yesterdays
Digest. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've heard that
"Liberace wanted to buy so and so piano" when he was in town. He must
have really gotten around in his day just looking for old pianos to
purchase in every small town on the map. Oh well, if it helps to
make a sell, I suppose a good story doesn't hurt.
Roger Hughes in Texas,
where Liberace once wanted to buy a butchered Seeburg KT over in San
Antonio. It was also not for sale to him at the time, or so I was told.
