Musical Box Cover for Sewing Machine
By Tammy Winland

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

Dear Sir: I am looking for pictures or more info about a music coffin
lid box made for sewing machines, around 1872 to 1882. It was advertised
by Remington sewing machines. It was sold by Garvie $ Wood, Union Square,
New York. Any info you can give me would be wonderful.

Thank You, Tammy Winland

[ Bill Wineburgh adds, "If anyone has information please respond
[ directly to this non-subscriber and MMDigest as we'd all be
[ interested in any information about what appears to be an obscure
[ and perhaps rare automatic musical device." -- Robbie
