Special Custom Music Box
By Steve Heinze

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

[In the 05.05.29 MMD Mark Howard asked about having some special boxes
made to use as gifts]

We watched the film "Going My Way," and can certainly understand why
you'd want to offer these music boxes as gifts!

"An Irish Lullaby" is available as an 18-note movement made by Sankyo.
If you want a more elaborate arrangement, I can arrange it for a 30, 50
or even 72-note movement. Just to give you an idea of price, the 30-
note (including Sankyo's "new tune fee") would just under $100 each if
you bought 20. Of course, the 18-note movement is already available and
relatively very inexpensive! In any case, we can supply you with the
movements.

As for the box, you'd probably be best off engaging a local woodworker.
You could supply him with the bottle and glasses, and he'd be able to
size things correctly. For the sake of good resonance, the wood the
movement is mounted on should be 1/4" or thinner. Feel free to contact
us for further help on the project.
