Ampico Version Of Duo-Art Bach Roll
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Duaine Hechler asked about the Ampico Version Of Duo-Art Bach
Roll "Toccata & Fugue in D Minor."

It is Ampico roll number 40103 "Toccata & Fugue in D Minor," J. Bach,
arranged by Tausig, played by Ignaz Friedman. Reproduced from the
Duo-Art for the Ampico by William Flynt. The roll bears the copyright
date of 1974 and was produced by Klavier Music Rolls, Harold Powell
Associates, North Hollywood, California, 91601, U.S.A.

If you go to the MMD Archives and search for William Flynt you will find
a list of other rolls that he arranged or converted to Ampico.

I don't know that anyone is recutting it. It might possibly show up in
an auction.

Jack M. Conway,
Los Angeles, CA
