Blower for Small Pipe Organ
By John Adams

In reference to a DC blower from All Electronics, I bought one
(they have been listed for quite awhile) thinking I could use it
to blow some pipes [ref. Andy LaTorre's article in 050710 MMDigest].
It seems to be a squirrel cage fan rather than a turbine and
consequently will not satisfactorily blow pipes.

I hooked it up to a chest of 36 pipes in the 2 foot range and with
just one pipe blowing the little motor changed speed dramatically
and consequently the pitch. It also measured about 5 inches pressure
at 24 volts.

I am curious if anyone else bought one and had similar results.
From my experience, save your money. It now resides on a shelf...
