FS: Oak Case Steinway Duo-Art Grand Piano
By David Stankov
I have decided to sell my 1920 Steinway Duo-Art grand (XR) in a
Steinway factory quarter sawn oak case. The piano and Duo-Art have
been completely restored within the last eight years. The case has
a beautiful hand rubbed oil/wax finish which is what Steinway records
say is the original finish.
The piano has that typical, beautiful Steinway sound. The Duo-Art
plays very nicely and there is a custom made MIDI interface which
is included.
This piano originally came as a 'cow and calf' configuration.
I have the original steamboat pump which is unrestored but included.
I'm currently using a different external pump. There is a very nice
vintage craftsman oak bench included (non-Steinway).
This beautiful and unique instrument is for sale because I will be
moving to a smaller home in the near future. I will be selling my
roll collection separately. All inquiries regarding details and
pictures of the piano are welcome. Please, serious inquires only
to view the piano by appointment.
