Meaning of QRS (Q.R.S.)

Hi All,  I'll throw this in the mix.  I didn't see it mentioned yet.

I don't know if this is true, but I was once told by someone that
Q-R-S stood for Quincy, Rome, and Syracuse; the first three places
where QRS rolls were manufactured.

Personally, I like 'Quality Roll Service'.  The one that seems least
likely to me is the mail slot story.
