History of Wurlitzer 146-B Band Organ
By Craig Smith

Ray, Why don't you try to contact Paul Cuoco's family? There are
several people named Cuoco in or near Wyoming, Pennsylvania -- just
be glad his name wasn't 'Paul Smith'! In fact, there is a Paul Cuoco
on Wyoming Avenue only a few blocks from your friend Paul's house on
Monument Avenue.

Paul also had a few siblings. One was David and he was three years
younger than Paul. People who do mechanical music are known for
jawing about the hobby so chances are you'll come up with something
if you make a few phone calls.

Here's some information about Edward I. Deibert:

  Born: 1925 Died: 2003
State of last residence: New Hampshire

And there's another Edward I. Deibert who was born in the late 1800s.
Maybe he was the father.

You never know what connections you'll uncover. I was researching
the family here in Rochester that owned the Powers/Dufner Orchestrion.
I tracked their son to Syracuse, where I was born. After living there
for 25 years, the son sold the house to the Hogan family in about 1936.
Their daughter married and moved to a street nearby. When I was a kid,
I used to deliver her newspaper.

If you don't ask, you'll never find out stuff like this.

Regards,
Craig Smith
