Unknown Rotary Vacuum Pump
By John A. Tuttle

[ Ref. Steve Robbins in 150426 MMDigest --

Hi All, It's unlikely that the pump is from an Ampico because it
doesn't have the Amplifier pneumatic. I know of no Ampico system that
was made without the Amplifier, which is a critical component in the
system. While the crank rods in the pump definitely look identical to
those in the Ampico pump, it's highly possible that the company that
made them sold them to other manufacturers.

To me, the pump looks very similar to one I saw in a Recordo upright.

Musically,
John A Tuttle
