Tuning the Wurlitzer 105 Band Organ
By John Iles

I am rebuilding my Wurlitzer 105 band organ and have a question
regarding the tuning. I understand they tuned these organs one
note lower. Does that mean I should tune it one note lower than
what is stamped on the pipes and their mounting blocks?

[ organ I usually tune it to standard pitch and if some pipes
[ won't speak well I'll try those pipes at another pitch and
[ if they speak well then I'll use that pitch as a basis for
[ retuning the whole organ." See also the tuning instructions
