Case for Thorens

Thorens movements can be placed in almost any case that is the appro-
priate size, but if you are an extraordinary craftsman like George
Fryer, of Jacksonville, FL, you can duplicate an upright Polyphon case
from photographs.  George gave a talk about replicating cases and case
parts at the last Southeast Chapter MBSI meeting, and brought his
Thorens-Polyphon to show as an example of what can be done, given time,
patience and a whole lot of skill.

I have attached a photo of George and this beautiful music box as an
inspiration to the wordworkers in the group!
