Buying and Bidding at Overseas Auctions

It takes a lot of calculation to buy overseas.  When I used to buy from
English auction houses, I always calculated 20% more on top of my bid
price to account for exchange rate, shipping, commission, etc.

However, the pieces that I bought I have never seen available again;
but you never know when something unique will pop up again.
