Lubricant for Band Organ Crankshaft
By Howard Wyman

Can any of you band organ people out there tell me what is a good
lubricant for the wooden crankrods on the crankshaft of a Wurlitzer
band organ. I see in Bob Stanoczek's plans that he says to use lard,
but there must be something better than that.

Another question: should the vacuum bellows on a Wurlitzer 105 have
stiffeners glued inside like the pressure bellows?

Thanks,
Howard Wyman
