Electrons vs. Paper
By George Bogatko

All: Apropos of nothing in particular, I just wish to point out that
long after I'm dead and the oxide has peeled off the tape, the floppies
and hard-disks have become unreadable and the backups long since
abandoned, someone will come across one of my 88-rolls or A-rolls or
O-rolls in an old pile, and will insert them in a pneumatic device,
restored or home-grown -- made of wood and steel and leather and felt,
lovingly cared for in a basement workshop -- and my music will pour
forth -- as I intended it.

I'm so glad I'm on punched paper.
