Lubricating Electrova Pump Bearings
By Roger W. Kling

Greetings All, I'm finishing up the pump for an Electrova coin
operated nickelodeon and I need to lubricate the bearings that support
the crank shaft, as well as the ends of the push rods. All of these
blocks (bronze?) are slotted along the length and sealed at each end
with what appears to be solder to keep the 'grease' from coming out of
the end of the slot.

What is the best lubricant for this type of bearing? The grease that
I removed may have been a tallow and graphite mix but there was so much
other sludge in and around the bearings I can't be sure.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
