Proposal for Shortened Ampico Roll Numbers
By Bruce Clark

Those of us who know Ampico rolls well, automatically delete the last
digit in our minds. To put the roll in a correct size box, it is handy
to have the last digit available, when making box labels and doing a
quick search in a roll cabinet for a size 1, 3 or 5 roll. I feel that
the numbers should stay as they are, to prevent any further confusion
in the future.

The world is already shortening everything to a type of shorthand
language. "Sorry... got to go now, I have to take the IRT to the ER,
and fix a PC. Then we take a trip to Nifls. (Niagara Falls)"
