Packing Player Action Parts for Shipment
By Andy Taylor

Hi, I need to ship a single-valve Standard player action across
country. I have moved many players by truck, overseeing the operation
myself, but I have never sent such a delicate mechanism through a
carrier. I will probably go with UPS (we call them "Oops!" around
here).

Both the stack and pumps need to go, post haste. I want to be
absolutely sure the stack and pump arrive in undamaged condition.
If any of you have done this before, please advise me as to the proper
packing procedures.

Thanks in Advance
Andy Taylor
