Hi Brian,  Your frustration and advice are appreciated but unfortunately
it will probably fall on deaf ears.  Most sellers on eBay don't read MMD
and they are totally unaware of what happens to a parcel in transit.
Many don't know anything about what they are selling.

Your best recourse is always to _be proactive!_  Before you bid, ask
detailed questions, especially about what you can't see in the pictures.
Remember: "Caveat emptor -- Let the buyer beware".

Before you pay for an item, send the seller a message about what you
need as "safe packaging" and the techniques that you expect the seller
to institute.  For example, sending discs face to face, and tooth to
tooth, putting a sheet of paper or cardboard between each disc,
especially those sent tooth to tooth, etc.

You may have to pay a bit more in postage for a heavier, more secure,
package but you'll probably receive your disc's undamaged, (or at least
in the condition they were sent!), or you and the seller can agree to
cancel the sale.
