Cut Music Rolls With Laser Beam
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All,

It seems the Laser has more than one problem when it comes to cutting
paper. In industry they use water to cut metal and fabric. At first
you might think the paper would get wet and warp. The amount of water
that would not make it through the layers of paper would be minimal.
The water would be picked up on the underside by oversized holes that
lineup with the player piano ones. A suction system on the bottom and
a blower system on top would keep the paper dry. Water cutters are
expensive but they are cheaper than lasers.

                                               Happy New Year
