America On-Line (AOL)
By Jim Cook

As an addition to my comments concerning AOL [000222 MMDigest], I would
like to say that when I have a problem with my local ISP, I can talk
with the president of the company (who is very knowledgeable in UNIX),
and if he cannot help me then I can talk to the web master. I have
never had a problem which was not promptly resolved.

I also dislike the fact that when an email is sent me from an AOL user
and includes a link to a web site, it is necessary to remove the quote
marks surrounding the URL to make it into a functioning link. It
would be nice if AOL didn't keep everything proprietary to keep their
subscribers.
