Silicone Valley & Silicone Products
By John Phillips

Hi Everybody. One of my great regrets is that, when I first visited
the U.S.A. in 1967 and worked at the University of California Berkeley
campus for six months, I didn't know that AMICA existed, even though
I'd already decided to buy a pianola when I returned to Australia.
So I missed out on a lot of advice and enthusiasm.

However, I did get to visit the Anchor Steam Beer brewery, and one
night, when my wife Beryl, a friend from New Zealand and I were out on
the town, we were picked up by a guy in a bar who was intrigued by our
accents. He turned out to be an insurance salesman who insured people
against not being able to keep up with their insurance payments.

He took us to a strip club where he promised we would see the biggest
breasts in the whole San Francisco Bay area. And we did, and they were
attached to Carol Doda. Best of all, we got to see them for free,
because the insurance sales guy insisted on paying.
