George Antheil & Hedy Lamarr Story on TV
By Julie Rosenberg

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

On Friday August 11 at 9:00 PM The History Channel's new series
"This Week in History" will premiere.

The fascinating story of Hollywood-star Hedy Lamarr and avant-garde
composer George Antheil's patent for frequency-hopping is part of the
line-up. We produced this story with the help of many people including
Anthony Loder, son of Hedy Lamarr, the estate of George Antheil and
many player-piano enthusiasts.

Also produced by Smash, and premiering on Friday, is a story about
the building and tearing down of the Berlin Wall and the people whose
lives were impacted by its presence.

We hope you tune in and enjoy the show.
