Joyland Park & Wurlitzer Mammoth At Risk
By Mike Schoeppner

It would take deep pockets to bring Joyland Park back. We drove around
there recently, and saw that extensive repair and upgrading would be
necessary. Plus the land is now likely to be more valuable for housing
development.

The two new parks are the final straw, as Wichita can't support three
parks. I will let MMD know if I hear anything about the future of the
Wurlitzer Mammoth band organ.
