Bird cages can be repaired and I'm sure there are people who can help
you.  To help you, though, it would be good to have a general idea of
where you live.

The value of the bird cage depends very much on its age and quality,
and how 'original' it is.  Furthermore, the value is also depends on
where you live.  I have noticed that certain items in the US are much
cheaper then I would pay for the same article in Europe, and vice versa.
Maybe one of the other subscribers here can give you a better idea of
the value.
