Mechanical Singing Bird Repair
By David Dewey

I'm afraid a theatre organ person would be of little help restoring
a mechanical singing bird as the typical "singing bird" in an organ is
entirely wind powered. It consists of a high-pitched pipe blown through
a container of liquid [glycerin], which causes the warbling "bird"
effect.
