Yaffe Collection on "CBS Sunday Morning" 18 Dec.
By Kevin Kline

This post is to inform all mechanical music hobbyists and MMD
readers that "CBS Sunday Morning" news will feature a 8-9 minute
segment on mechanical music on Sunday, December 18, 2005.

The piece will feature current production of disc and cylinder
machines, technological history concerning mechanical music and
a reasonably detailed view of the mechanical music collection of
Mark and Christel Yaffe.

As many mechanical music collectors and MMD readers are aware,
the Mark and Christel Yaffe Collection is one of the premiere
collections in the world featuring cylinder and disc musical boxes,
automata and a large number of European and American orchestrions.
