MBSI's president Carla Wiemer was involved as a consultant to the
producer of last Sunday's  "CBS Sunday Morning" segment on mechanical
music.  Carla writes this:

  "Although the producer promised to send me a copy for our archives,
we would need permission to duplicate it.  I don't expect that many
people will want an actual copy of the segment, at least not enough to
go through the hassles of getting permission, putting someone in charge
of the project, having copies made, taking orders, packing and mailing,
etc.

   "There is a place on cbsnews.com to contact them.  Perhaps that
would be the best place to direct those that want a copy of that
particular segment.  I would suggest to them, especially if they are
not a member, to visit our web site and order 'Marvels of Mechanical
Music,' which has much more information.  This video was what I sent
to the CBS producer, which helped to educate her about mechanical music,
rather than just 'music boxes'."
