My Hupfeld Phonoliszt of 1909 has a simple gold decal Phonoliszt,
without any mention of Hupfeld.  I would presume that a contemporary
Clavitist will be similar.  I will send Philip a photo so he can see
the typeface.  Later Hupfeld instruments have brass inlaid names of
both the maker and the model.  The fact that Philip is asking about
decals indicates that his piano does not have any brass inlay.
