Spencer Chase Discharged from Hospital
By Tim Baxter

Good news to report: Spencer has experienced a near miraculous
recovery, and was discharged from the hospital today. I spoke with
him and he was in good spirits. He is still having some sensitivity
to light from his head injury, but his neurological prognosis is
excellent. His orthopedic problems also were not as severe as
originally expected and he is moving around pretty well (albeit with
one arm nearly immobilized from a nasty compound fracture, and some
broken toes). The initial trauma to his head and body appeared so
extreme initially that no one expected to "come 'round" this fast.

Spencer expects to have e-mail access soon, but I would recommend not
bombarding him all at once as he will likely have some catching up to do.
