Virtual Ampichron for Ampico
By Spencer Chase

Hello, I have just made a file set for each hour of the Ampico Chimes
roll, number 100805, which will work with my Carillon program. This
will make it possible to create a "Virtual Ampichron" on any Ampico
that has an E-Roll Player system.

The roll has Ampico "B" coding but it should work on "A" pianos too.
If anyone has other rolls that were made for the Ampichron (did they
make any others?) I would like to scan them. The roll I scanned was
a recut so I would also like to find an original copy to scan.

If you have an E-Roll playing Ampico and would like to try the program,
contact me by E-mail. I am also interested in assembling programs of
other Ampico, Duo-Art and Welte rolls for playing by the clock and
welcome any suggestions.

A question about this "Chime" roll. Each selection is followed by
chiming the hour at which it is played. It starts at 7:00 AM and ends
at 11:00 PM but there are no chimes at 11:00 PM. Is this an error in
the roll or is the original made that way?

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
