Duo-Art vs. Ampico

Brad Hunter's post to the 080129 MMD asking for the opinions of
experienced MMD'ers elicited some terrific advice and commentary,
which I also found very helpful as a relatively new collector.

I do agree with most of the comments that both Duo-Art and Ampico are
fine systems when properly re-built and regulated.  Having researched
availability of reproducing pianos the last couple of years, I find
that there generally seem to be more Duo-Art pianos offered in various
piano brands (especially Steinway and Weber) than Ampico.  I'm not sure
why.

I wish Brad the best of luck in his search.
