Musical Box Society DVD on YouTube
By Dave Bowers

I have just finished re-viewing (enjoying one more time) the eight
Musical Box Society International clips on YouTube. Suggestion:
The devil is in the details, it is said, and, unfortunately, there
are very few details given.

It would be interesting to know more about the side-by-side duplex
disc music box in one of the films, the name and specifications of the
organ playing "Skater's Waltz," in another clip, and the identities of
some of the people speaking. If the individuals want anonymity, given
the open access to YouTube, then at least it might be nice to have a
reference key to the instruments shown.

Also, it is left to the imagination how a typical new viewer can learn
more about the Musical Box Society International. That said, the series
is very nice, well recorded, and does a lot to introduce the hobby.
