USPS Media Mail
By Mark Williamson

I would like to echo Michael Woolf's comments in MMD 080224.
I used to purchase piano rolls on eBay and have them shipped from
the USA Australia in an M-Bag. As long as I bought at least 20-30
in one lot, the shipping charges would work out to less than $1US
per roll. I got caught once when I purchased a lot of over 100 rolls
from a Canadian seller on eBay, only to find out that Canada Post
does not have a media rate.

With the demise of Surface Mail, the cost of shipping second hand
88-note rolls from the USA to Australia has become prohibitive,
at least for this impecunious Salvation Army Officer.
