Hi all,  I have read the postings about delivery problems with Leather
Supply House.  Hopefully Mike is reading our postings.

I consider Mike Madeira to be a valuable over-the-phone friend and
he has spent much of his time giving me valuable advice and supplying
me with player rebuilding materials that are performing in excellent
fashion.  On the other hand, I, too, am  frustrated by the time it
takes to get an order filled.  Admittedly, I have asked for some
materials that may not be so common in his main line of work which
appears to be pipe organ rebuilding.  Fortunately I have been able
to work on other parts of my current reproducing player project while
I wait for him to respond with my needed supplies.

Currently I am waiting for him to research the appropriate leather
to use for Ampico A pump flap valves (any other recommendations would
be gratefully received).  Hopefully I will get an answer this week.
All the rest of my player parts are restored and the pump sits waiting
for it's leather flap valves.

Even after all of this, Mike is who I would, and do, send friends to
for their materials!
