Removing Disc Selector Knob of Regina Corona
By Wayne Finger

I am rebuilding a Regina Corona, model 35. It is an early model with
the lifting straps. Would appreciate any advice on the following
topics:

Question 1. The disc selector (sometimes called the "Index") has
a rotating arrow with a knob which moves a cam and linkage to adjust
the location of the disc carriage. I would like to remove this
"arrow & knob" from the shaft without breaking it. The entire
spring motor assembly is still in the cabinet and the shaft for the
"arrow & knob" goes through the side of the cabinet. I don't see
any set screws or pins holding it but the "arrow & knob" is held on
securely. Has anyone removed the "arrow & knob" and how did you do it?

Question 2. This Corona is missing the top decorative pediment and
needs a replacement. Is anyone making these?

Thanks for any advice,
G. W. Finger (Florida East Coast)
