Stahnke LX System and Music Files
By Wes Melander

I heard the Stahnke LX Steinway A at Chris Finger Piano in Niwot,
Colorado, with the AMICA group in April. It was fabulous! See
Jere DeBacker's full review in the MMD 2008.04.11.

How much of the fabulous LX sound is due to the high resolution
system, vs. the quality of the transcription and editing, vs. the
impeccable touch weight regulation of the piano?

I see that the MMD Store has Disklavier (and PianoDisc) compatible
floppy disks of the LX music. Has anyone tried these yet? Do they
sound better than your other Disklavier or PianoDisc disks?

Regards,
Wes Melander
