Roll-playing Theater Organs
By Dave Bowers

Tom DeLay, As you know, my Style 135 and Cecil B. DeMille's
Wurlitzer in Little Tujunga Canyon each used Wurlitzer Concert Organ
rolls. These seem to have been used on the related Style L and
Style J organs, but it is not unlikely that 88-note players could
have been ordered as an option.

Concert PianOrchestra rolls were used on the larger Wurlitzer
photoplayers, but I am not aware of their being used on any theatre
organs of any size.

Merry Christmas.
